MusiQuest Jr.
MusiQuest Jr. is a new program developed by Janet Harney to provide quality music instruction for children from age 3 through third grade. MusicQuest Jr. students will learn music concepts through singing, playing instruments, movement, and listening. The students will also learn basic music theory. Each class will meet weekly throughout the school year, which is divided into two semesters. The fall semester begins in mid-September and run through mid-December. The spring semester will begin in mid-January and run through mid-May. The child’s age (during the 2009-2010 school year) will determine which level he/she should attend.
MusiQuest Jr. is unique in it's use of original childrens songs which include musical terminology. Children will enjoy singing songs while easily learning musical terms.
Classes will be held at the New Town United Methodist Church. See the schedule page for class times.
Approximately 30 classes per school year!
Classes include singing, playing instruments and movement.
